Day 1: from Montreal to Marrakech

Evening departure from Montreal to Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech

Your BONVAC team is ready to greet you upon arrival. Enjoy a seamless transfer to your hotel, where you can unwind and settle in. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, relaxing before an evening of delicious Moroccan cuisine and a restful night’s stay.

Day 3: Marrakech › Ouarzazate

Morning Departure to Ouarzazate: After breakfast, embark on a scenic 4×4 journey via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m), where breathtaking landscapes and charming Berber villages unfold along the route. Explore the historic Kasbah of Telouet, a legendary stop on ancient Saharan caravan routes. Enjoy an optional lunch before continuing to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Morocco’s most impeccably preserved ksar (fortified village).

Arrival in Ouarzazate, visit of the city with a stop at the Kasbah of Taour. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate › Tinghir › Erfoud › Merzouga

After breakfast, we journey along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Skoura and Kelaât M’Gouna—a region famed for its annual Rose Festival each May. We’ll pause for photos in the fragrant Rose Valley before exploring the iconic Kasbah Amridil. The adventure continues through the dramatic Dades Gorges, then onward to Tinghir, home to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where sheer canyon walls tower 250 meters high. The day concludes with a drive to Erfoud and finally Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in a desert bivouac under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga › Zagora

At dawn, witness a breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of Merzouga. Return to camp for a memorable breakfast before departing for Zagora via Rissani. Visit the historic Moulay Ali Chérif Mausoleum, resting place of the founder of Morocco's 300-year Alawite dynasty. Continue through the Berber village of Alnif for lunch at leisure (not included). Your journey unfolds through Tazzarine and Taghbalt, revealing ever-changing pre-Saharan landscapes where traditional villages cling to the slopes above the Drâa Valley. Arrive in Zagora for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 6: Zagora › Ouarzazate › Marrakech

After breakfast, we'll follow the scenic route along the Draa River's right bank, where lush palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and imposing ksour (fortified palaces) line the way to Ouarzazate. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our journey to Marrakech. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 7 : Marrakech

Discover the magic of Marrakech, where history comes alive through magnificent palaces and legendary monuments. Your day of architectural wonders begins at the Bahia Palace, then continues to the Koutoubia Minaret, Menara Gardens, Saadian Tombs, and the vibrant Majorelle Gardens. Enjoy lunch at leisure in a restored palace within the ancient medina. As the sun sets, immerse yourself in the electrifying energy of Jamaa El Fna Square – a whirlwind of storytellers, musicians, and bustling souks. Cap off your evening (optional) with a traditional dinner and show at Ali's, before returning to your hotel for overnight.

Day 8 : Free day in Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a full free day to explore Marrakech – the captivating "Red City." Discover its vibrant souks, historic landmarks, and hidden gems at your own pace. The evening concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 9: Return to Montreal

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech airport for a smooth flight to Montreal.
